Explore the range of options below to learn more about what's new and exciting from Ford.
2023 Ford Bronco Sport
Coming in at an MSRP of $29,215, the 2023 Bronco Sport is Ford's return to the trail-tackling 4x4 game. After a 25-year hiatus, the legendary off-road titan makes a triumphant return with two and four-door configurations, along with six distinct trim levels: the Base, Big Bend, Heritage, Outer Banks, Badlands, and Heritage Limited.
Under the hood, the base engine is a 1.5L turbocharged I-3 delivering 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque, along with an estimated fuel economy of 25 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. Upgrading to the 2.0L turbocharged I-4 bumps up performance to 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. However, fuel economy drops to an estimated 21 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. The Bronco Sport can tow between 2000 and 2200 pounds with either engine.
Along with the impressive engine lineup, Ford has included a unique feature dubbed G.O.A.T., which stands for “go over any terrain.” G.O.A.T lets drivers choose from five different driving modes (Sand, Slippery, Sport, Eco, and Normal) and adjusts the all-wheel drive system, transmission sampling, and throttle response to tackle various terrain types.
In addition to its performance capabilities, the 2023 Bronco Sport proves incredibly versatile with its capable off-roading features and impressive cargo space. The Bronco Sport features 8.8 inches of ground clearance, up to 32.5 cubic feet of storage space behind the second row, and a maximum cargo capacity of 65.2 cubic feet.
2023 Ford Escape
Next up is the 2023 Escape, starting at an MSRP of $28,995. This compact crossover offers slightly roomier passenger accommodations than the Bronco Sport yet still retains easy maneuverability. With the Escape, drivers can choose from seven configurations: the Base, Activ, ST-Line, ST-Line Select, Platinum, ST-Line Plug-in Hybrid, and Titanium.
The Escape comes in three powertrain options: a 1.5L turbocharged I-3 (181 horsepower), a 2.5L hybrid (200 horsepower), and 2.0L turbocharged I-4 (250 horsepower). Springville, Alabama, drivers seeking the best mix of performance and efficiency should look no further than the Escape plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, with its 2.5L plug-in hybrid (210 horsepower) boasting an impressive 37 miles of electric-only range. It's rated for 27 mpg city, 33 mpg highway, and 30 mpg combined; adding all-wheel drive drops those numbers to 26 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 28 mpg combined.
With up to 3500 pounds of maximum towing capability, the Escape provides enough power for weekend getaways or adventures. It also features a sliding second row that can maximize cargo area (from 33.5 to 37.5 cubic feet) or rear-seat legroom. And when you need more space, fold the rear seats for up to 65 cubic feet of cargo capacity.
2023 Ford Expedition
For those requiring even more power and space, the 2023 Ford Expedition starts at $53,875 MSRP. This genuine full-size, body-on-frame SUV offers two- and three-row variants with seating for five, seven, or eight passengers. Its lineup comprises six models: the XL, XLT, Timberline, Limited, King Ranch, and Platinum.
An authoritative 3.5L twin-turbo V-6 engine producing up to 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque powers the Expedition's entry-level trims. The Platinum variant gets a boost to 400 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque, while the Timberline Performance edition dishes out 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. The Expedition's fuel economy is yet to be released, but Ford promises class-leading capability and efficiency.
The Expedition's cavernous cargo area measures 63 cubic feet behind the second row and 105 cubic feet behind the first. Long-wheelbase Expedition Max models expand those numbers to 80 and 121 cubic feet, respectively. And for weekend warriors or those needing to tow a heavy load, the Expedition offers up to 9,300 pounds of maximum towing capability.
Off-roaders will appreciate the Timberline trim, which features burly all-terrain tires and a trail-tuned suspension that raises the ride height, metal skid plates borrowed from the F-150 Raptor, and trail turn assist from the Bronco.
2023 Ford Explorer
Last but certainly not least is the 2023 Explorer, which starts at an MSRP of $38,355. When it comes to three-row family-friendly SUVs, the Explorer embodies the spirit of exploration — with a range of features and configurations to choose from. It's available in eight distinct trim levels: the Base, XLT, Limited, ST, Platinum, ST-Line, Timberline, and King Ranch.
At the heart of the Explorer is a 2.3L turbocharged four-cylinder engine good for 300 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. An available 3.0L twin-turbocharged V-6 ups the ante to 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. A hybrid powertrain option pairs a 3.3L V-6 engine with an electric motor for a combined output of 318 horsepower and 322 lb-ft of torque. The rear-drive hybrid is rated as the most fuel-efficient, with estimates of up to 27 mpg city and 28 mpg highway.
The Explorer can tow up to 5600 pounds when properly equipped. It also provides standard seating for seven passengers (six with second-row captain's chairs). With the third-row seats up, the Explorer features a generous 18.2 cubic feet of cargo capacity, expanding to 47.9 cubic feet with the third row folded flat and 87.8 cubic feet with both the second and third rows flat.
